ISO/IEC 9001 standard certification

In 1987, the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) developed a series of ISO 9000 standards. These standards are based on ideas and provisions on quality management.

ISO 9000 standards have been revised and modernized many times. Certification is carried out according to ISO 9001, which contains requirements for the quality management systems of enterprises.

To date, the fifth latest version of the EN ISO 9001-2018 standard has been released, which is very different from previous versions.

In Ukraine, accordingly, the standard DSTU EN ISO 9001-2018 “System management yakistya. Vimogi ”, which is actually a translated copy of the EN ISO 9001-2018 standard.

Certification for compliance of the quality management system with the requirements of ISO 9001 is carried out as a rule by audit companies (Certification Bodies) that are accredited by national accreditation organizations for compliance with ISO 17021. In Ukraine, such a national authority is the National Agency for Accreditation of Ukraine (NAAU) http: // naau.org.ua

The certificate of compliance with the requirements of the EN ISO 9001-2018 standard indicates a high level of the enterprise, the release of quality products by the enterprise or the provision of quality services.

From the beginning, ISO 9001 worked as the main criterion by which international companies evaluated their suppliers. Today, the presence of an ISO 9001 certified quality management system at the enterprise is a powerful argument in choosing reliable business partners.

One of the main priorities in the development of industry in Ukraine is to increase the competitiveness of domestic products on world markets, the use of new technologies by building and implementing a quality management system at enterprises and organizations, regardless of their size, ownership or sphere of activity.

The certification process according to EN ISO 9001-2018 includes the following work steps:

Development of the entire documentation package and implementation of a quality management system at the enterprise.
Search for a certification body and conclusion of a contract for a certification audit of the quality management system (QMS).
Payment of works.

Certification audit for compliance with the QMS requirements of EN ISO 9001-2018.
Paperwork and issuance of a certificate with its registration in the unified register of the Certification Body.
The certificate is issued for 3 years with the annual passage of supervisory audits. After the expiration of the certificate is re-certified or recertified. The cost of certification work depends on the complexity of the quality management system or the size of the enterprise. The cost is calculated based on the number of standard hours required for a group of auditors to conduct a certification audit.

After passing the certification audit according to EN ISO 9001-2018, you get:

– certificate according to DSTU EN ISO 9001-2018 (EN ISO 9001:2015, IDT; ISO 9001:2015, IDT);

– agreement on the use of the certification mark;

– package of documents of the quality management system;

– package of certification audit documents;

– package of documents for accounting (contract, invoice, acts).

Quality Management System Certificate EN ISO 9001-2018:

gives priority when participating in tenders;
is a prerequisite for obtaining some licenses and certifications;
