INFORMATION ON SUSPENSION, CANCELLATION OR REDUCTION OF CERTIFICATION https://iitc.com.ua/en/informatsiya-shhodo-prizupinennya-skasuvannya-abo-skorochennya-sferi-sertifikatsiyi/ https://iitc.com.ua/en/informatsiya-shhodo-prizupinennya-skasuvannya-abo-skorochennya-sferi-sertifikatsiyi/#respond Wed, 12 Jun 2019 20:31:51 +0000 http://iitc.com.ua/?p=1148 The Management System Certification Body has policies and documented procedures for granting, refusing, maintaining, re-certifying, suspending, renewing or revoking certification, or extending or reducing the scope of certification, and specifies its further actions by making appropriate documented decisions.

The management system certification body suspends the certification in cases when, for example:

a) the client’s certified management system consistently or substantially does not meet the certification requirements, in particular the requirements for the effectiveness of the management system;

b) the certified client does not allow to conduct supervisory audits or re-certification audits with the required frequency;

c) the certified client voluntarily submitted a request for suspension.

During the suspension, the client management system certification is temporarily invalid.

The Management System Certification Body has legally valid agreements / contracts with its clients to ensure that in the event of suspension, the client refrains from further advertising its certification.

The management system certification body shall renew the suspended certification if the problematic issue resulting in the suspension is resolved. Failure to resolve the issue, which results in suspension, within the timeframe set by the certification body, results in the revocation of certification or reduction of the scope of certification.

In most cases, the suspension should not exceed 6 months.

The management system certification body reduces the scope of the client’s certification to exclude non-compliant parts if the customer consistently or substantially fails to comply with the certification requirements for those parts of the certification area. Any such reduction is consistent with the requirements of the standard used for certification.

The HACCP system was developed by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Today, in many foreign countries there are mandatory legislative requirements for the presence of the food chain of the implemented and certified food safety management system according to ISO 22000 (HACCP). In Ukraine, certification under the ISO 22000 standard (HACCP) will become mandatory in the near future.
The modern consumer introduces to the producer of food products high requirements for the quality of products, packaging, storage and should be confident in its complete safety.
Many merchant networks in Ukraine and abroad, such as Auchan, Metro, Silpo, ATB and others, allow only the products of certified manufacturers to ISO 22000 (HACCP) in their retail network.

Food safety is associated with the control of hazards in food. Because food hazards can appear on any part of the food chain, it is therefore necessary to manage these factors at each stage. The food product can be secured only by the joint efforts of all parties involved in the food chain.

The food chain encompasses a variety of organizations, from feed and primary producers to food producers, transport and storage operators and subcontractors, and further to retailers and caterers (along with related organizations such as equipment manufacturers, packaging materials, detergents, additives and ingredients). Such a chain also includes organizations providing services for washing and disinfection.
The standard establishes requirements for a food safety management system that guarantees total food safety and combines key elements:
– Interactive informing;
– System management;
– Prerequisite programs;
– Principles of HACCP.
For the analysis of hazards, the organization determines the strategy that will be applied to ensure the management of hazards through a combination of program prerequisites and the HACCP Plan.
